Includes the plays Ms Courage, Red Star, Fill the Stage with Happy Hours
Ms Courage is a brutal yet darkly comic reworking of Mother Courage by Johann von Grimmelshausen. Red Star tells the story of an actor in the Russian theatre who bears an uncanny resemblance to Stalin. It was performed by the RSC. Fill the Stage with Happy Hours is the most autobiographical of Charles Wood’s plays, being a comedy about a run-down repertory theatre.
