János Hay

János Háy is an award-winning Hungarian poet, short-story writer and novelist who became a playwright only a few years ago. In 1997 and 1998 he wrote the lyrics for two children's musicals (The Salt and Briar Rose), then in 2001 and 2002 wrote two plays, the first of which was Géza the Kid (The Stonewatcher), which shocked Hungarian theatre circles but won several awards.
